FAQ
Do you teach a specific commercial investigation app?
No. Exercises use generic screens and exports so your internal naming, permissions, and vendors stay private. You will map the habits onto your own tool.
What is a real limitation of this course?
We do not certify forensic accounting competence, and the sample ledgers under-represent Islamic banking product structures. Malaysian teams working heavily in those products should plan a local adaptation session after the capstone.
Is prior audit experience required?
You should already read financial transactions in your day job. Pure beginners in bookkeeping will find Module 2 dense.
Module 3’s evidence-freeze checklist stopped a messy argument with our vendor about which export was authoritative. Capstone feedback was sharper than I expected.
I liked the conflict scoring drills. The live pace in week two was tight if you also run a night shift — budget buffer time.
